Claire O’Donohoe upped to Chief Creative Officer across Remarkable Entertainment, Initial and Znak
CEO of Remarkable Entertainment, Initial and Znak TV, Natalka Znak, has announced the senior creative team for leading entertainment label Remarkable Entertainment (part of Banijay UK).
Creative Directors Tamara Gilder and Cat Lawson have been promoted to Joint Managing Directors responsible for the day to day running of the business and building the companies impressive slate of entertainment hits which include Pointless, Starstruck and upcoming Survivor for BBC One.
Tamara joined Remarkable in 2016 as Executive Producer. She was promoted to Creative Director in 2019, creating and running Richard Osman’s House of Games as well as entertainment hits Pointless and Pointless Celebrities.
This news coincides with a 100 episode recommission of Richard Osman’s House of Games for BBC One which will go into production in xxx. The show celebrates 500 episodes on air in January. [sentence pending BBC approval]
Cat joined the company as Creative Director in 2018, working across shows including All Together Now, Sunday Brunch and the hit ITV series Starstruck, returning for a second series next year.
Natalka Znak said: “We are in an aggressive period of expansion at Remarkable Entertainment with big new shows like Starstruck and Survivor joining our returners, an incredible archive of IP and new development to roll out. I am delighted to appoint Cat and Tamara to lead this new phase, they are brilliant creatives and I can’t wait to see what they achieve.”
In addition, Claire O’Donohoe has been promoted to Chief Creative Officer, working across Remarkable Entertainment, Initial and Znak TV. Claire joined Banijay UK in February as Director of Programmes and has worked closely with Natalka, playing an integral role in recent re commissions of Big Brother (ITV2) and Survivor (BBC One).
Natalka added: “Claire has made cracking start this year getting recent big commissions off the ground and just watch this space as there is more to come!”
Reporting to Natalka, Tamara, Cat and Claire take up their roles with immediate effect.
